Georgy Li is a Berlin-based documentary filmmaker and cinematographer specializing in portrait films about artists. His work explores the intersection of creative practice and human experience — from the spatial installations of Canadian artist Panya Clark Espinal, captured in "Chasing the Light" (Lift-Off Global Network Berlin 2025, Cannes Film Awards 2025), to the commissioned portrait "Karate Artist", made for the German Karate Association and released in 2026. Working as a one-person production, Georgy brings an intimate, precise visual approach to each subject — delivering films that work as artistic statements and as practical tools for exhibition, communication, and public engagement.
